Ringway Golf Club

"Girls Golf Rocks"

Top Cheshire golfer and James Salt pupil, Gemma Clews, had just returned from representing England at the World Amateur Team Championships in Mexico (September 2016) but was happy to help out at our latest Girls’ Golf Rocks session down at the Ringway's practice ground on Saturday.  As well as showing us a great range of shots, Gemma gave lots of tips and encouragement to our group of budding young golfers and a good time was had by all – including Spotty the bear!

Since launching Girls’ Golf Rocks in the spring of 2016, seven girls have joined our Junior Section and, with ages ranging from 5 to 15, they are all enjoying “getting into golf” and making good use of Ringway’s facilities.  Please give the girls your support and encouragement when you see them around the clubhouse, practice ground and on the course – it really would be most appreciated.
