CSS for the 1^st Round was 76 and for the 2^nd Round 75
Annette Stroud got the only two of both rounds.

Ladies 18 Hole Foursomes Stableford Competition
Overall Winners were Diana Stevenson & Carol Mason with  29 pts
Second were Susan Howorth & Judith Godwin OCP with 26 pts
Third were Margaret McDonald & Linda Bennett with 26 pts

New Orange Tee Markers
On holes 1 – 6 new bright orange tee markers have been placed on the edge of the rough well down each fairway. They have been placed with a view to safety and so that they should not distract ladies or gentlemen playing from the normal tees. All the orange markers are visible except on 2nd hole where they have been placed just beyond the new bunker on the right.

The new tees are meant to be used by new members just starting golf including Juniors and by shortening the play of these holes we hope that beginners will get more enjoyment early on in their golfing careers. The tee markers are movable obstructions and relief may be taken under rule 24-1

This means that for the cost of  just £500/annum a member may advertise his/her company on one of our tees.  Currently there are still a few vacant tees available.  The cost is similar to that paid for a relatively small once –off ad in one of our local papers.  At Ringway, your sign will be seen by all golfers playing the course. Presently the Club has over 800 members and is host to many hundreds of visitors throughout the whole year.

The signage can be designed to suit and may contain your business details, logo, contact numbers etc. Signs can be provided via our regular supplier at a one off cost of approx £100.

The winner in the Silver Division was Linda Hill with 42pts
Second was Ros Denton with 38pts
Third was Carol Williams with 37pts
Fourth OCP was Doreen Beckett with 36pts
Fifth was Jan Dooley also with 36pts.

The winner in the Bronze Division was Josie Dent with 36pts
Second was Marie Dixon with 35pts
Third OCP was Geraldine Senior with 34pts
Fourth was Margaret McDonald also with 34pts

The CSS was 73 and the Hardest Hole was the 15^th and the Easiest was the 14
There were three twos:-

      Hole 16 Patricia Gallagher

In the Bronze Division the winner was Patricia Taylor with a nett 71
Second place went to Norma Stephen with a nett 72
Third place went to Hilary Macklin with a nett 77
Joint fourth OCP all with a nett 78 went to Kate Alderson, Jill Rose, Judith Godwin and Joan Blackwell.

Match Results
On the 23April the A team played away against Crewe unfortunately Ringway lost 4 and 3.
