Jnrs - Festive Florida Scramble - 10 holes (1-7 & 11-13) Rules

FLORIDA SCRAMBLE – INFORMATION & RULES
10 HOLES – 1 to 7 & 11 to 13 – Yellow & Red Tees
The “Home” player with lowest handicap will be the team captain and mark the card.
• Each player hits a tee shot on every hole.
• The team captain looks at where the tee shots finish and chooses just one of them, the “selected shot”, as the position from where all the next shots will be hit
• The team members whose shots have not been selected pick up their balls & walk to the location of the selected shot.
• The player whose shot has been selected, marks the location of their ball with a tee peg, picks up their ball and puts it in their pocket as they will not be playing the next shot.
• The players whose shots have not been selected take it in turn to place their ball within 6 inches of the tee peg and hit the next shot. (Don’t forget to use a mat on the fairway in winter.)
• This process continues until the ball is in the hole.
• On the next hole, all four golfers tee off, and then the format — decide which is to be the selected shot, three play shots/putt and one sits out — begins again.
• Over the 10 holes played, every player in the team must have at least two of their tee shots chosen by the captain as the selected shot. On every hole, mark clearly on the card whose tee-shot was chosen as the selected shot – use columns A, B, C, D to indicate whose tee shot was selected.
• Record the gross score for every hole on the scorecard, total the scores at the end and deduct your team handicap allowance to give a net score.
• The card must be signed by the team captain and another team member.
WHS Handicapping for Scrambles: -
4-ball = 25%/20%/15%/10% from lowest to highest 9-hole Course Handicap
3-ball = 30%/15%/10% from lowest to highest 9-hole Course Handicap
