RINGWAY ACADEMY

As a club we think it’s important to get you playing as quick as you feel comfortable rather than spending hours learning the game without actually stepping foot on our great course. Learning to play golf can be an overwhelming and frustrating experience if you don't have a clear plan.  

To allow this process to run as smoothly as possible James Salt our Head Professional and his team use a coaching system called Operation36  along with our unique scaled courses .   

Operation 36 provides beginners with the most effective model and technology to learn to play golf.  Become a skilled golfer by following a motivating roadmap to shooting Par (36) or better for 9 holes!

Targets will be set in order to graduate through the Academy into full membership:

• 3 rounds of 9 holes on the Par 3 Academy course of 42 or less - Using a maximum of 3 clubs (7i, PW, Putter)
• 3 rounds of 9 holes from the Green course of 47 or less.
• 3 rounds of 9 holes from the Orange course of 55 or less.
• Pass through level 1 & 2 in Operation 36
• Pass a rules and etiquette quiz

 Qualifications for Academy Membership:

• - Not a member of another Golf Club
• - Having ongoing group or individual lessons        year on year  
• - Under 15’s must be accompanied by an adult     at all times for their welfare
